A leading expert in the field of dentistry, Dr. Yu-Jung Li is a dentist with the Yu-Jung Dental Clinic in Taoyuan, Taiwan. In this role, he is renowned for his work in the medical applications of dental implantology, the long term and painless drug delivery systems, and continuous blood monitoring devices. He cites the highlight of his career to be the experience he has had in interdisciplinary thinking processes including biophysics, chemistry, and medical and dental sciences.

From a formative age, Dr. Yu-Jung Li has been passionate about oral cancer and its related mechanisms. He began his career as a student at Chung Shan Medical University, obtaining a Bachelor of Dentistry in 2002. He then joined National Central University, completing a Master of Science in chemistry and biophysics. He subsequently obtained a Master of Science in clinical dental science from National Yang-Ming University. Dr. Li also holds a Doctor of Philosophy from the National Taipei University of Technology, which he received in 2017.

In addition to his primary roles, Dr. Li is a lecturer at St. Mary’s Medicine, Nursing and Management College. He also serves in a number of other capacities with the school, including leading pathologist, human anatomy lecturer with experiments, and clinical laboratory and diagnostic tester. He has maintained membership with the Association for Dental Science of the Republic of China and the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of Taiwan.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the dental industry, Dr. Li has accrued several accolades. The recipient of an Excellence Award for his presentation in the poster section of the Sixth Asian Congress on Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the 49th Annual Meeting of Japanese Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in 2004, he has also been elected an honorary member of the Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society of the Republic of China since 2008.
