KOHI concluded final course of ‘Multi-year Competency enhancement of Diagnosis and Treatment of ASD for Children for Bangladesh’
The participants established ‘Action Plan’ in Workshop, with evaluation on how they implemented the knowledge and skills learned for the last two years. This workshop was instructed by Prof. Yang Moon-bong in Baekseok Univ. including discussion of long term plans for ASD-related policies and training system. Also, there were practicums for ASD diagnosis tools, Early Intensive Behavior Intervention (EIBI), and Medicine treatment in Seoul National University Bundang Hospital (SNUBH) and Edu-vision. Prof. Yu Hui-jeong in SNUBH, and Prof. Yang served these programs.
Pavez Rahim, chief coordinator of Autism & NDD Cell, Health Services division, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare in Bangladesh, said that, ″Through this training program, we had developed our long-term plans for diagnosis and treatment of ASD, especially for the training system of specialists and policies.″
