WONJU--(Korea Newswire)--On November 1st, the award ceremony for Longevity Award hosted by Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business took place at Busan Paradise Hotel. At the award ceremony, LISTEM Corp., (chairman, Chang-ho Moon) President Sang Jin Moon received the Longevity Award given by the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy.

The Longevity Awards are given to the companies that are 30 or more years old with long tradition and management capacity, having continued growing and developing, to award and encourage them. The companies who received the award this year were 30 or more years old. A total of 22 commendations in 6 areas were given.

Award personnel said the award helps maintaining the domestic market by promoting successful cases of noble companies with long life that have been proving their craftsmanship and entrepreneurial spirit.

Listem who received the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award is an X-ray equipment manufacturer with 53 years of history and original technical skills. The company enjoyed the honor of winning the prize as its achievement of promoting the domestic medical device market and increasing the national competitiveness was recognized.

Personnel from Listem said with this award as the beginning, the company will expand the X-ray camera business and achieve 100% domestic production of advanced digital products such as DR, digital R/F, C-arm, and mobile devices to complete the full line-up in a bid to become the world’s leading manufacturer. To do so, the company will put its effort in researching and developing and expanding into other markets.

On the other hand, ADR, Smart DR Q’Scan of Listem will be introduced at MEDICA 2013 (held from the 20th) and Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Exhibition 2013 (held from December 1st in Chicago). At these fairs, the company expects to promote the products as well as to increase exports and export outlets.
