‘I Rune’ has obtained KGMP, CE MDD, and ISO 13485 certification and was licensed as portable pain relieving device in 2010. In August 2, 2013, I Rune received official recognition from Ministry of Food and Drug Safety(MFDS) in relieving menstrual pain and muscle pain. In addition, clinical trial was done in Seoul National University Bundang Hospital and Chungbuk National University Hospital, to prove the effect in relieving menstrual pain.

In addition to relieving menstrual pain, ‘I Rune’ is also effective in relieving other types of pain, with built-in protocol TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) and thermal stimulation in affected parts. The small size and elegant design also enable it to be worn without being too noticeable, hence it can be used with no bound in time and place.

medirune is on its way to obtain license and certification to export to Southeast Asia, USA, Europe, and Japan. In Korea, medirune has participated in various showcases such as KIMES 2009~2013 and GMES 2009~2013 to familiarize pain relieving device to the public.
