SEONGNAM--(Korea Newswire)--Many medical equipment companies from all over the world are participating in a variety of the international medical industry exhibitions every year in order to introduce their know-hows and technical competencies that they have accumulated. This month will feature the “MEDICA exhibition in Germany” that boasts its globally large scale.

MEK ICS Co., Ltd.,(CEO Jong-Cheol Kim, www.mek-ics.com) a Korean company specialized in medical equipment, will participate in “the International Medical Equipment Exhibition in Dusseldorf, Germany (hereinafter referred to as MEDICA 2012)” to be held for four days from November 14 to 17. “MEDICA 2012” is the international medical equipment exhibition to celebrate the 44th anniversary, which is held in November every year.

MEK ICS Co., Ltd. is slated to introduce ‘the ICU ventilator’, ‘the transport ventilator’ and ‘the high flow therapy OmniO2’ as setting up a booth (booth number: Hall 9/C03) in this global medical exhibition

The ICU ventilator for criticial patients, “SU:M Series” is the respiratory management system (No. 38 of the health new technology) with the outstanding performance that is highly regarded as an innovative treatment method to care patientswith respiratory disease. It is composed of the three versions of “SU:M1”, “SU:M2”,“SU:M3”, etc.that differentiate the artificial function for each model.

Among these, “SU:M3” is equipped with the “DUAL HFV” mode that is applied bythe high grade convenience specification to measure CO2 when doing CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation). Only three companies globally (Korea-MEK ICS Co., Ltd., Germany-Draeger, Japan-Metran) can implement this technology.

The transport ventilator “Pneuma Series” is the light weight product of approximately 8k; thereby, being able to handle emergency without airway intubation through the forced respiratory using the mask when doing CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation). The company will showcase the “Pneuma2-MTV1000” that is used in a variety of places such as intensive care unit, emergency room, etc. and the products for home care at the exhibition.

In particular, the recently newly developed ‘the high flow therapy OmniO2’ will be featured to the public at this “MEDICA exhibition” for the first time.
