Medirune Co., Ltd. unveiled a new portable pain relief device at GMES 2012
Medirune Co., Ltd. unveiled “I-Rune Basic (tentative name)” at this exhibition, which is a new portable combination stimulator developed after the research and development of one year since the launch of I-Rune.
This product consists of the two channels; thus, it is possible to use the four patches simultaneously. It also has the important features that the menstrual pain mitigation mode (TENS) and the low frequency massage function have been embedded.
In particular, it is possible to use it conveniently without replacing another battery using the built-in battery. And it is portable anywhere at any time with the compact design of 4cm × 4cm size. It is expected to be released as a low-prevalence model.
Currently, the development of I-Rune Basic (tentative name) has been completed and it is about to be released. Upon completion of the items report at the Food and Drug Administration of South Korea, the company will embark in earnest on distributing the product to domestic and overseas companies.
“GMES 2012 was a good opportunity for the technology and quality of the product to get evaluated before the launch,” Shin Won Kang, CEO of Medirune Co., Ltd., said. “In particular, the product was well received by the domestic companies. Also, the overseas buyers from Canada, China, Europe, etc. have shown interests in the product. Therefore, we plan to embark on both product launch and entry to overseas markets at the same time.”
