CARETEK Co., Ltd. joins GMES 2012 to exhibit medical endoscope ‘AV-SCOPE’
CARETEK Co., Ltd. is scheduled to debut a variety of products including “AV-SCOPE (Attach Video Scope)”, which is a medical endoscopes, during the exhibition period.
AV-SCOPE, an endoscopic image diagnostic device, is a product that has been developed to allow intubation of airway quickly and safely in an emergency situation through the monitor and ultra-miniature camera that is detachable at the existing laryngoscope. Since it is possible to view the airway of a patient through the LCD monitor, the treatment can be done quickly and accurately compared to that seen with the naked eye.
It consists of the 2.3 inches TFT LCD monitor detachable at the handle of the laryngoscope and the blade, the ultra-miniature camera to capture images of the oral cavity (VGA) and light source (LED). It allows a continuous use when having multiple cameras, and it can facilitate data management by using the recording function at any time.
Currently, this product has been patented for “laryngoscope with an endoscope guide when attaching and detaching”, and it also acquired the CE certification of European Union and the certification of the Food and Drug Administration of Korea (KFDA).
In addition, the company has received good reviews for the product through participating in the course of events such as the Emergency Medical Association, the Fire Fighting Exhibition, the Armed Forces Military Equipment Exhibition, etc. domestically and the CMEF (China), the Medical Fair (India), the Bulmedica exhibition (Bulgaria), South America trade mission, China trade mission, etc. in overseas.
Based on these quality certifications, CARETEK Co., Ltd. has entered into a distribution agreement in the field of defense with the seven cities nationwide and the emergency management agencies. It is also supplying the product to hospitals and universities nationwide, including the Wonju Christian Hospital. In addition, the product has been exported to 11 countries overseas in Japan, China, India, Thailand, Russia, and Chile.
