A Korean Medical Device Vendor, HYUN MEDICS ‘Spurs’ to be the representative corporation of Gangwon-do
Based on such technologies and products, they are growing as Korea’s representative small business company in medical device sector by listing their name on various projects supported and selected by Korean government agencies.
In last May, they were appointed as Gangwon IP Star Corporations 2012 by Gangwon-do’s Regional Intellectual Property Center with other 9 corporations in Gangwon Province, and they are awarded for intellectual knowledge management consulting valued about KRW 200 million for three years such as patent technology trend research and analysis, simulation production, and brand and design development support for rearing technically innovative corporations.
Also in June, HYUN MEDICS was appointed as one of 22 Promising Export Firms of Gangwon Province in the first half designated by Gangwon-do’s SMBA. Thanks to this designation, they can benefit from lowered export credit guarantee fee, preferred loan interest rate and fee, priority in supporting participation in overseas exhibition, and buyer searching and counseling acting by the Bank of Korea, Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, Korea Technology Credit Guarantee Fund, Small and Medium Business Corporation, Korea Trade Association and other export supporting agencies for two years.
Moreover, HYUN MEDICS is listed for ‘Small Business Technology Innovation Development, Future Leading Task’ supports for which maximum 3.5 billion KRW is supported to 7 small and medium business corporations in Gangwon-do for two years. This project is conducted by Gangwon-do’s SMBA to support high value promising technical development in the future such as green and cutting-edge technology sectors and maximum KRW 500 million is supported per task.
HYUN MEDICS, president, Seo, Hyun bae says that “we will spur product technology development and sales based on various systematic small and medium business supporting projects. In the second half of this year, we will finish the development of drug injection pump and acquire permission, and then we will work on sales in Korea and export”.
