Citibank ICC makes it easy to withdraw in local currency abroad from an account deposited in KRW in Korea. The service is available at Citibank ATMs in 35 countries for only $1 fee per withdrawal making Citibank ICC widely popular with the biggest market share in Korea. Even the $1 fee is waived for customers who have at least KRW 10million balance in their transaction account at Citibank. Customers with strong demands for withdrawals outside of Korea can certainly benefit from the service.
On top of which, Citibank also offers a complete fee waiver for overseas remittance of students abroad and for Citi Global Transfer (CGT) service which enables real time transfer to overseas Citibank account.
HS Jeon, Executive Vice President of Marketing at Citibank Korea, said, “The promotion will be a very attractive chance to customers who consider going abroad for leisure, education or any other reason because the promotion will be of great use not only before departure but while being abroad and even after coming back to Korea as it is a package promotion designed to benefit customers in various ways.”
