WONJU--(Korea Newswire)--Kostec (CEO Oh-Sung Kwon, www.n-kostec.co.kr), a company specializing in medical monitors, released 12it DICOM LUT-based 2MP grade monitor 201 series. 201 series features high-resolution of 1600x1200 pixels and IPS wide-view 2MP LCD panel. With the narrow bezel design, it appears sleek and stylish unlike rough-appearing conventional medical monitors, yet retains the sturdy image.

The greatest advantage of 201 series is its excellent functionality and user convenience. This product features 9 OSD keys at the front bottom which applies the HOTKEY system to select DICOM mode, PIP/PBP function, and access each calibration mode (MRI, CT, US, MAMMO, ENDO, TEXT mode, etc.) with a single hotkey for easy and convenient use under any hospital environment (PACS, RIS, HIS, etc.).

There are semi-diagnostic version that supports high-brightness at 500 cd/m², endoscope version composed of various digital and analog ports, and clinical review version developed for generalization of 2MP grade high-definition DICOM monitor. Besides, Kostec has released a ultra high-luminance – 1,000 cd/m² - mono 19-inch solution and 21.3-inch mono and color monitor, and is planning to release 14-BIT DICOM LUT-based diagnostic monitor during the 3rd quarter of this year.

Kostec will be launching out the new product lineup in MEDICA and RSNA, the largest medical exhibitions to be held in Dusseldorf, Germany, and Chicago, USA, in upcoming November, competing with those market leading brands in major markets such as Europe or North America.
