CKI launches a special ‘Times Square’ promotion for Clear Card, the most useful credit card selected by office workers

SEOUL--(Korea Newswire)--Citibank Korea, Inc. (CEO Ha Yung Ku, www.citibank.co.kr) launches a special one-month promotion for its Citi Clear Card customers from June 1st to 30th at Time Square. Since its launch last year, Citi Clear Card has been constantly appreciated as the most useful credit card for office workers. In December 2010, it ranked No.1 out of the 10 most useful cards for office workers in a survey conducted by Card Gorilla, a credit card comparison website.

Time Square is a hybrid shopping mall with 200 stores that are in alliance with Citi Clear Card offering up to 7% discount on any Citi Clear Card purchase at Time Square. With this promotion, customers will not only enjoy discount service but also chances to win various gifts such as buffet voucher, Starbucks gift certificate, etc.

Along with the basic discount benefit of up to 7% discount in all Time Square stores (except for SSG and Emart), Citi Clear card offers Seven Springs gift certificates and vouchers depending on spending; 10,000 KRW for over 200M spending, a buffet voucher (1 person) and 10,000KRW gift certificate for over 500M spending and a buffet voucher for 3 persons for over 1MM spending.

In addition, one lucky-draw chance will be given per 50,000KRW of spending to offer 211 gifts including Apple Mac Book Air(1), iPad(10), BBQ or Starbucks Certificate(200).

Citi Clear Card also offers 100KRW discount per 900KRW used for public transportation such as bus, subway etc., a 5% discount at all restaurants during lunch time(11:00~14:00) and up to 10% discount at different trendy merchants including shopping, dining, book stores etc.
