Encouraging Indians to work and study in Korea

Seoul--(뉴스와이어)--More than a thousand people attended an expo in New Delhi, India aimed at promoting the advantages of working at high-tech Korean companies as well as studying at top colleges and universities in Korea.

Organized jointly by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy (MOCIE) and the Ministry of Education, the expo aims to tap into the pool of talented Indians who could find jobs and higher education opportunities in Korea. Nineteen Korean firms and seven universities took part in the expo.

Recently, Korean firms have been trying to recruit qualified workers in the research and development areas as well as highly skilled technicians for production facilities.

For those who are hired at the expo, MOCIE plans to help them with easier immigration procedures when they enter the country.
